Program Requirements Volunteer Expectations/ Adult Clearances: Head Start/Early Head Start would not be possible without parent involvement.  Families are expected to participate regularly in the program.  There are many volunteer activities which can be done at home or in the classroom.  Adult volunteers will need to have a current TB test on file.  All Head Start/Early Head Start staff have been cleared for health, criminal records, and child abuse. Attendance: Children are expected to attend class every day the center is open unless the child is ill.  Parents are expected to inform staff when children are ill or when they have other issues impacting their child's attendance. Health: Children are required to have up-to-date immunizations, a current physical exam on file within 30 days of enrollment, and various other screenings including a dental exam and a mentall health observation. Transportation: Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.  Children are expected to arrive at and depart from school on time each day.
