Head Start Child Development Council, Inc. is located in the central valley of northern California, approximately 45 miles south of Sacramento.  The agency serves 2,971 children between the ages of 0 to 5, thoughout San Joaquin County, in a variety of programs with a number of collaborative partners from the local community.

Dear San Joaquin County families, community members and other interested parties:

Welcome to the newly revamped Head Start Child Development Council, Inc. website.  HSCDC, Inc. is proud to provide quality, comprehensive services for children of low-income families.  The agency offers programs for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children and pregnant women.  Services are available in part day and full day centers, as well as home based and combination programs.  New to the agency is the Family Child Care Home option, where social services are provided to Head Start eligible children in private centers that the agency has partnered with.

We have a professional and dedicated team here at HSCDC, Inc.  All of us are committed to making sure that our children and families come first in all of our priorities, and that we continue the traditions of accountability and transparency that are the guiding principles behind our work on behalf of the children, families, and communities of San Joaquin County.  The goal of our staff is to learn, live, love, and to leave a legacy with the work we do in supporting the most valuable asset of our community---the children!
